Social family garden in Hove

This is a great size garden for central Hove and had so much potential to create a more usable and functional space for the family.

There was a significant amount of hard landscaping for this project. We built a new large patio terrace with two beautiful aluminum Renson pergolas installed by Garden House Design. Under one pergola we created a space for outside cooking and dining, whilst the other pergola provided a relaxed seating area. Due to their retractable roofs and sliding side panels, the pergolas enable the garden to be used in all weather conditions. On the patio terrace we also built a bespoke floating timber bench to create more seating in this social space.

Steps from the terrace lead up to the lawn area of the garden where a beautiful path has been built to weave through the planting, leading to another paved space to relax in the hot tub or bespoke sauna pod. As the soft landscaping establishes in this area of the garden it will be transformed into a private space with beautiful planting.
